Digital Content Marketing Strategist

This role will oversee all content marketing initiatives, across multiple platforms and formats to drive online and when needed, omnichannel engagement and sales. We are looking for an expert in all things related to content optimization, brand consistency and digital marketing. You will be the ultimate guardian of our client’s digital content output and must, therefore, own the delivery process. This will require rolling up your sleeves and getting into the details, while still thinking strategically for the client and corralling the appropriate talent within BORN to best serve the client’s needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES .  
  • Assist in creating a digital content strategy for clients that supports and extends cross- channel marketing initiatives, both in the short and long-term, and determine which methods work for the brand and why
  • Leverage market and competitive data, as well as brand insights and objectives to develop content themes & topics as well as KPIs
  • Conduct content audits and competitive analyses in order to better inform the overall content strategy
  • Ensure consistency of brand communication is maintained throughout the execution of content across all channels
  • Write, copy edit and proof various types of content in various formats, as requested
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice
  • Strong familiarity with executing best practices in all digital functions including acquisition marketing (email, banner ads, online video, paid search and SEO, etc)
  • Assist in program measurement and reporting for all digital initiatives
  • Understand client needs and advocate on behalf of clients to ensure project success
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with ease. You must possess a highly professional communication style and demeanor, with the ability to interact with various levels of leadership both within BORN and on the client side

Qualifications:
Basic Experience and Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in multichannel content strategy and creation.
  • Demonstrated digital experience is a must.
  • Expertise in all major business software applications.
  • Skill at both long-form content creation and real-time (immediate) content creation and distribution strategies and tactics.
  • Ability to connect editorial and business strategy, e.g., to define the business goals behind a piece of content.
  • Leadership skills to define and present performance metrics across all content, based on goals co-created with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in KeyNote.
