ABOUT THE ROLE
A Marketing Manager is needed to take the lead on the marketing efforts. Working across a world leading digital and eCommerce agency expect a hands-on role executing a leading marketing program from start to finish. This strategy led, eCommerce and Digital group, specialise in end to end digital and eCommerce services . With offices in London and globally they have an experienced management team passionate about providing their clients with great results and a first-class service. They are constantly growing and are now seeking a talented Marketing Manager to drive growth across the European business landscape. The role is initially focused on the UK/European/EMEA markets. The role is vital to our mission of becoming the world’s best digital agency. The role is based in London, but we are a digital-first company.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Working alongside the EVP of eCommerce and Senior Managers of the agency the Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning and implementing multi-platform marketing campaigns to support the sales effort. Whether you are identifying target audiences, developing marketing plans, analysing the market, coordinating events, creating marketing collateral (case studies, blogs, articles etc.), conducting analytics reporting or identifying effectiveness and impact, it will be your results-driven marketing mind with an eye for creativity, that delivers superb results. Working with the EVP of the eCommerce Division and the team to define and implement flexible annual marketing and communications to support the agency's ambition to raise awareness and grow revenue;
  • Manage marketing initiatives (Google Ads, SEO, Google Analytics) and reporting
  • Setup/Manage and edit social media presence: L​inkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
  • Manage external service providers including website developers, marketing services supplier and partnership/membership organisations
  • Planning, promoting and executing industry events (both virtual and in-person)
  • Manage CRM email marketing: monthly newsletter, event invitations and speaker relationship management, campaigns etc.
  • Support the production of branded content (weekly case studies and insights posts) and omni-channel lead generation marketing campaigns
  • Managing the awards submissions process and PR strategy
  • Manage the marketing team
IS THIS YOU?
The Marketing Manager must have an understanding of a marketing agency life and ability to assert the brand and personality in the marketplace and the ability to inspire, influence and charm people to help get things done.   Are you able to demonstrate the following?  
  • +5 years of experience in comms/ advertising/ marketing agency
  • Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of SEO: keyword research, content optimization etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and MAC OS (i.e. KeyNote)
  • Familiarity with marketing and automation tools including HubSpot, SEMRush and Google Analytics • Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
  • Experience in Content Creation/Planning is a plus
Responsibility for all day-to-day activities, ensuring best-in-class relationships and a strong campaign strategy that drives new business revenue. In this role, you’ll combine your partner-facing experience and agency knowledge to manage and grow BORNs footprint.

  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills;
  • You have a results-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity;
  • A resilient nature with an ability to work to deadlines and apply critical decision-making skills; • You are energetic, highly motivated, with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • You are hands-on; as comfortable developing the strategy as implementing the campaign; • Self-motivated, with the ability to work proactively using own initiative;
  • Degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • Any experience or exposure to PPC, SEO, Social Media would be a bonus as would any management experience and knowledge of GDPR.
  • A natural collaborator. Nothing we do is done in isolation. Being open to sharing input and ideas with the dynamic team is essential to success.
  • Able to orchestrate. Gravitase to conduct multi-department projects and processes and able to galvanise teams to work towards a common goal.
  • Ideally 5+ years’ experience working in a client and/or partner facing role at a digital agency.
  • You will be highly commercial and come with a proven track record of building and growing a portfolio of partners.
  • You will complement your commercial and data-driven skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence and persuasion.
  • You will have exceptional communication skills and be totally comfortable engaging and managing a group of stakeholders.
  • You will have a passion for the verticals we want to attract - CPG, fashion, lifestyle, beauty, food & beverage, and innovative FMCG.
  • You will have a keen interest in design, technology and e-commerce.
  • You will be a strategic, creative, pragmatic thinker and problem solver.
  • You will be comfortable with change and working in a fast paced environment.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE
  • Experience working with technology platforms such as BigCommerce, Shopify, Drupal, Magento and Salesforce.
  • Ecommerce agency experience.
  • Ideally a technical understanding of e-commerce systems such as ERP, ESP, CRM, OMS, WMS, etc - and how they interact with e-commerce platforms.
