BackgroundCartier is a French luxury goods company renowned globally for its prestigious collections. It has offered high-end jewelry, watches, leather goods, and fragrances since the early 20th century.
BriefIn the absence of a major watchmaking fair this year, Cartier asked BORN to create an international responsive website to support the relaunch of its iconic watch, Pasha, and to help showcase this year’s watchmaking novelties and collections.
GoalsCreate a dedicated website to support Cartier’s 2020 Watch collections. Engage customers digitally showcasing each collection’s unique design and theme. Take a mobile-first approach and design for cross-device journeys with a global reach. Support eight different languages, including Arabic.
Content curationCartier believed that it was pivotal to preserve interactions with their clients worldwide and offer them an experience entirely dedicated to the Maison’s watchmaking creations.
Modular DevelopmentBORN created a modular design system for Cartier to maintain and support the individual character of each collection. It was designed to accommodate each of the eight languages within their geographic reach.
A mobile-first design approach and cross-device journey considerations were at the core of the solution.
Carefully constructed landing pages allow each watch feature to be presented in close detail, while the inspiration behind each collection provides a unique atmosphere of discovery.
