M&S approached BORN to launch their first ever iPad app. It needed to be visually stunning to truly showcase M&S Home products within an eCommerce-enabled environment.
With the printed M&S Home catalogue as our starting point, we used wireframing, UX insight and creative brainstorming to create a bespoke set of iPad templates that elevated and optimized the print assets for the digital space; whilst adhering to the M&S brand guidelines. Condensing all 360 printed pages into a 180 page app required a blend of highly functional user-friendly design alongside a creative approach to UI. The first app shot to No 1 in the App store, with over 300k downloads in just over a month.
