Ajio, launched in 2016, is an Indian eCommerce company headquartered in Bangalore, India. With the trendiest, freshest, and most unique styles from across India and the world, Ajio invites customers to express their personal style, fearlessly.

Brief

Looking to build out its mostly offline empire, Ajio needed a eCommerce experience that would showcase them as a stunning, engaging global style destination.

Goals

Create a new site that is true to the Ajio brand, all while providing smoother user experience across all devices.

The Challenge

Bringing the offline experience online meant creating an equally as immersive experience, digitally. The new site had to convey the craftsmanship and detail of the high-quality goods while providing a consistent experience throughout every device.

Updating the Aesthetic

We modernized Ajio’s brand aesthetic by showing inspirational content and providing detailed art direction on product imagery.

Goals

We focused on creating engaging content for a large collection of apparel, footwear, accessories and lifestyle products offered by wide range of brands on the ajio.com website.

Results

The new site successfully brought the in-person experience online by incorporating the high-end products, showcasing the ornate details to ensure users felt comfortable adding to cart.

Shop the Look

An interactive ‘shop the look’ module was included so users could easily purchase items from a featured outfit.
