Background

ASOS was founded in London, primarily aimed at young adults. Its products include clothing, shoes, accessories and beauty. The website sells over 850 brands, supplied by a 168-strong supply chain with 713 factories feeding product on a daily basis. ASOS ships to over 200 countries from fulfillment centers in the UK, Europe, and USA.

Brief

ASOS approached BORN to help speed up turnaround times for its online imagery while maintaining a consistent, high-quality output.

ASOS needed an improved process to get new product imagery to market quickly and efficiently within tight budgets.

Challenge

An elevated appreciation of editorial fashion is required to interpret the styled imagery supplied for creative retouching. Enhancing location and product imagery for print and digital channels, often without garments at hand to color match to, requires a sound understanding of the industry.

Solutions

A team of experienced creative retouchers carried out advanced image editing and product matching.
